  • This programs aims to equip you with the skills, knowledge and outlook necessary to succeed working specifically as a professional Makeup Artist.
  • Teaching the fundamentals through to the advanced techniques of makeup design, the diploma course also develops supervisor and managerial skills such as co-ordinating teams, budgets and briefs. Skills required to manage projects and make presentations are also developed.

  • Demand for services such as waxing, facials, manicures, pedicures, massage, makeup application and tinting is at an all time high. The Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy [WRB40105] is a nationally recognised qualification, equipping you with the necessary skills and knowledge to embark upon a rewarding career as a Beauty Therapist. To achieve this qualification you must complete a total of 25 units of competency.

  • To achieve a Diploma of Beauty Therapy, a total of 33 units of competency must be completed. This consists of 23 core units and 10 elective units including at least 8 specialist electives. CBA has selected specialist units focusing on both Advanced Makeup Design and Massage. Both of which will ensure your skills are further enhanced and highly sought after.
  • This highly informal yet practical short course is designed specifically for those who have not worked or participated in study for a long period of time. Basic work skills and attitudes toward work are developed. The following included: workplace communication, OHS, workplace presentation, interview skills, goal setting, career planning, etc.
  • Today, computers are everywhere! Technology is now embedded in almost everything. So much so almost every job now has an IT component. As a result, basic Information Technology skills are perceived as a necessity. The primary goal of this learning programs is to provide fundamental computing and employment skills that will enable you to enter or re-enter the workplace with confidence.
  • This programs provides skills in advanced use of software applications such as MSWord, Excel and PowerPoint. It also allows learners to become competent in the workplace by achieving a degree of self-sufficiency as an advanced ICT user.
  • This program aims to develop digital design skills and introduces learners to design concepts, practices and techniques using industry standard applications. This program focuses on design concepts specifically for print and the web. This includes: Print Media, Photographic Basics and Web Design.
  • This qualification provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to be competent in website design as either an independent ICT specialist or as part of a team. This includes designing and constructing web pages and creating the 'look and feel' of the site. The designer's objective is to create, in consultation with the client, the flow or 'story' of the website and how the information will be displayed.

    This program is based upon the official Adobe Digital Design curriculum using industry standard Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Training is a must for the professional Web designer. This program builds upon the competencies developed in the Certificate IV in IT - Websites, and includes the following:

    - Dynamic webpages using PHP and javascript
    - Database Integration with MySQL
    - Analysis of Technical, User and Client Requirements for Websites
    - Website Documentation and Planning

    Technical skills, including knowledge of specific technologies, various platform and specific web languages will be finely honed to enable you to develop highly sought skills in this ever expanding industry.
